Today the news went around the world that the prominent son of supermodel Cindy Crawford died at 27 from a drug overdose. Someone who seemed to have everything: loving parents, the best looks, success from early youth. Envy of many. Powerlessness and deepest despair remain behind. Such a final decision pulverizes everything one believes one has. Nothing “self-built” then holds. The abyss stands open. Only the bare innermost, behind every sunrise and sunset… can perhaps show something. God protect us all from such a day and grant us help and new faith in time. Comfort all parents!
